Storm Nordwind is no longer keeping this blog current

This blog contains a diary of the Second Life avatar Storm Nordwind's first experiences of Play as Being, from April 2008.

The early entries of this blog are still interesting (to me at least) but from September 2008 onwards there's no real content.

Storm supported Play as Being until 2015 but no longer keeps this blog active. It is here now only as a matter of record.

Play as Being 19

  • May this play make you happy
  • Sunlight reflecting on the sea. Be the Light.
  • How difficult is it to focus on, even to play as, Being when the body is thoroughly tired and exhausted. Is this a measure of how far I have still to go?

  1. Hi Storm, for a few days now I have been wondering what to say in response to the "what about you" video -- but I haven't succeeded to respond on the same level of simplicity. So I'm resigning myself to be clumsy and wordy: the video reminded me how central the `you' part is in play. I've felt like a kid going out on the street to find others to play with, without too much thought about who would make whom happy. The very fact that playing is hard to do all by yourself means that a sense of play may be a good trick to let the all-important `you' sneak into our lives. Arggh, far too wordy -- let's play!
